Brought in my MB for a transmission fluid change. After talking with them for a few minutes it was clear they knew their stuff and treated their customers cars as if their own. Price came in a couple dollars less than the estimate and the car was done 15 minutes earlier than they had promised!Great service, competitive pricing that beats the dealers and friendly knowledgeable staff. Doesn't get better than that. Actually it does, as they are 20 minutes closer than the dealer.... That's a win all the way around!

I will start off by saying that my experience with South Lake European was good enough to get me to create a Yelp account just to express how thoroughly impressed I was with my first experience at SLE. I work at a Bellevue car dealership and service shop and have a 2004 BMW M3 that I have routinely serviced here, but we recently lost our BMW technician, so I had to find another shop to do the valve adjust on my car.After a lot of calling around to get quotes and a feel for various BMW shops in the area, I decided to go with SLE not only because they were by far the lowest priced, but because of how friendly, professional and knowledgeable Derek was over the phone. I felt very comfortable with them from our initial contact.When scheduling, Derek even offered to meet me at the shop after hours if I couldn't drop the car with him before closing as he wanted to make sure my car was kept safely inside overnight.The team he has assembled there is absolutely great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work on their European car at a great price. A Shop!

I have a 2002 BMW X5 and have been taking it to South Lake European since they opened. What a great experience! I get sound advice, excellent communication and up front information regarding the costs and options. The General Manager Brian is knowledgeable and takes time to explain the repairs. If you have a European vehicle, especially a BMW, and want a shop you can trust, definitely come in to experience it for yourself.

I recently purchased a BMW X5 and brought it to this place based off Yelp reviews. When I called to set up the appt. they asked me if I needed a ride, which is definitely an added bonus. I thought the service was top notch. I went in for an oil change and inspection. They were prompt and very attentive. I will definitely return.

This place is so amazing! They worked on my 2009 VW GTI. It runs great now! They atmosphere is cozy for having to wait and Derek the owner is a really nice guy. I had South Lake European do the 120,000 mile Inspection II service on my 1998 BMW M3. My experience as a customer was excellent and the results provided were also excellent.While performing the routine Inspection II services they discovered a significant coolant leak that I hadn't noticed. This leak apparently only occurred while the car was running. There is no way I would have discovered it until my coolant light came on, or worse, when I blew a hose on the road. They were able to fit me in the next day for the coolant system repairs.Also during the Inspection II they noted the transmission mounts were soft, but not torn, which means they are getting old, but not yet in need of replacement. They assured me it wasn't necessary to replace them at this time, which seems unusually honest for a repair shop.I also had a short list of items for them to look at in addition to the scheduled maintenance. One of these was the rear doors, which were extremely difficult to close. They were able to lubricate them and now their movement is much improved.After visiting South Lake European, my car feels rejuvenated... It is quieter, quicker, and smoother. Their prices are very good. Their communication is excellent. Their techs seem to be very thorough. I will gladly take my car here again.

Wow...I just had my car worked on and don't feel like I am being ripped off...what a concept! I knew that I had a lot of things that needed care on my vehicle. Derek was able to help me prioritize what really mattered and what could wait, and what was not of concern. This is a service provider who understands the value of long term, repeat customers and it shows in the way I was treated. I would highly recommend South Lake European for any European cars repair. Darek is very knowledgable and experienced mechanic. Recently, I was going to buy a used '97 BMW Z3 from a car dealer and I got the car inspected by Darek. He did an excellent job in finding present and potential problems with the car. I am glad I got it inspected as I cancelled the deal. Darek is very honest and gave me right advice. When I will buy another BMW I will definitely go to South Lake European for service.
